Outcome of Immediate Postpartum Insertion of IUCD - A Prospective Study

Introduction: Immediate postpartum intrauterine contraceptive device insertion is an outstanding approach to family planning, offering women in the delivery setting a secure, efficient, and reversible method of contraception for long term. The primary objective this study was evaluate safety effectiveness immediate insertion. Additionally, it aimed compare outcomes two different routes, namely vaginal deliveries caesarean sections. Objective: aim assess level awareness regarding (PPIUCD) among who have recently given birth. This seeks investigate inserting PPIUCD immediately after childbirth. Materials methods: In prospective interventional study, total 100 with were included. spanned duration 1 year, participants followed up period three months. focused on assessing various outcome measures related efficacy. Safety included evaluating incidences perforation, irregular bleeding, unusual discharge, infection.
